Ado North LCDA Chairman, Hon Olatokunbo Gbadamosi conferred Matron of YAN.

The Chairman of Ado North Local Council Development Area, Hon. Olatokunbo Gbadamosi has been conferred as the Matron of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Youth Association of Nigeria (YAN), Ekiti State Assembly.


The investiture of the Ado born gender activist, philanthropist and politician was held in Ado the Ekiti State Capital, during the inauguration of the fourth Assembly of YAN in the state.


Speaking after the inauguration, Hon. Gbadamosi described the honour as laudable and thanked the Youth, for choosing her as their Matron owing to her dedication to youth development.


She reiterated her commitment to the Youth Assembly and promised to always throw her support to the forum to excel in their programmes and activities.


The Ado North LCDA Chairman, applauded the State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji for giving youth the needed platform to excel in his government.


Hon. Gbadamosi, however, praised Ekiti youth for supporting the state government drive in moving the state forward through various lofty initiatives.


Earlier, the newly inaugurated Speaker, Rt. Hon Ayomide Oluwatosin said that the honour on Hon. Gbadamosi was in recognition of her love for the youths in the state.


He urged her to be relentless in advocating for more youth in governance and monitoring them to excel in life.

At the programme, Hon. Sunday Adunmo was also inaugurated as the Patron of the Assembly while the Commissioner for Information, Rt. Hon Taiwo Olatunbosun and Hon. Maxwell Olu-Ajayi among others were also honoured at the programme.
